My first HF

This is my first HF rig: the ICOM IC-735.
I recently put up a 40 meter dipole, and now I can hear tons of activity on 40 meters, even AM broadcast station from India, France and China! (well,it sounds Chinese…). I bought this in near mint condition on eBay. It came with mic, and original boxes. It even still has the little plastic door, which I hear often gets lost. I have since added a new power supply, MFS tuner, and WWII era morse code key.

Update: Sadly, I sold this rig. Putting up and keeping up an antenna was just to hard for me. It was better to sell this beautiful transceiver than to let it rust away.
